Without going into the distinctions of climbing versus bouldering gyms, it should first be said that it is a futile exercise to try to improve on nature. However, the 1200 square feet (small area) of Hidden Peak are known to a hard-core few to be a superb training venue. Altay Architects has also designed the rock climbing facilities of Lake Forest High School (Lake Forest, Illinois), and Lane Technical High School (Chicago, Illinois).
